Bridgend United Area is a Circuit of seven local churches.  Three of them (Porthcawl, Bridgend and Ogmore Vale) are united churches between the Methodist Church and the United Reformed Church (URC).  The other four (Cefn Cribwr, Tondu, Brynna and Gilfach Goch) are Methodist Churches.

The Bridgend United Area is called together in Christ to empower and inspire people to worship God and to proclaim the Gospel in word and deed.
